Multiple IP's Ubuntu

Posted by jamiew8, 02-10-2011, 07:12 AM
Hi, I have been trying to add multiple IP's for SSL purposes on Ubuntu. I have added the IP to the /etc/network/interfaces and it pings ok. I have also added the IP to a vhost in apache but when going to the ip or the domain name it times out before getting to apache. Any ideas? Thanks.

Did you add a Listen directive for the ip in the apache config?

Thanks for your reply. Do you mean the .conf file or the default vhost in sites-enabled? I have *:80 in 000-default. Do I need to add something to the .conf file also? If so what do i need to add/change? Thanks again

443 Or 123.123.123.123:443 where 123.123.123.123 is one of the multiple IP you've added Add to the default conf, just put it under :80

Thanks Yupapa, I've done that already.

Does anyone have any other ideas? I'm trying to get it to work on port 80 before I even try anything to do with SSL

I'd be happy to take a look at it for you if you PM me your server details. It's really hard to diagnose these type of things through conversation.
